Action beyond borders
The Valérie Messika Foundation aims to support organisations in favour of women and children in the fields of education, culture and health. In doing so, throughout 2022 and 2023, more than 4,000 hygiene kits were distributed to the most deprived young women internationally. In 2024, Valérie Messika wanted to focus efforts on India. The Saksham programme of the NGO Plan International is one of the NGOs the Valérie Messika Foundation has highlighted. This project, registered in the Delhi region, aims to establish training and fair access to employment for young people in India. For each piece of jewelry sold from the MESSIKA CARE(s) collection, part of the profits are donated via the Valérie Messika Foundation to the NGO, a butterfly effect that helps those who need it most.
Precious jewelry with a double edge
MESSIKA CARE(S)’ is an important collection for the Artistic Director. This project is directly linked to the actions she carries out through her eponymous foundation. Highly symbolic pieces of jewelry that have had great success since launching in 2022, Messika wanted to expand its offering by launching 12 new pieces on a cord . MESSIKA CARE(s) is available in four new colour combinations: beige and yellow gold, khaki and white gold, cream and rose gold, and black and white gold. Wearable bracelets and necklaces that reinterpret the Baby Move and Move Uno patterns in an understated yet elegant way. These new pieces are now available on the Messika website and in boutiques.
The dynamics of a movement
Valerie Messika is progressing her cause, forging new relationships and connecting stakeholders through the foundation. The Messika Care(s) campaign featuring Salif Gueye and Rose Chalmé expresses freedom and movement as key factors, as with all of Messika’s campaigns.
