Valérie Messika sees her diamond jewels of Jewelry and High Jewelry as Haute-Couture clothing. Inspired by a woman for women, each model is designed by thinking as much of its structure as the effect that it will produce once it moves on the body. Beyond jewelry, it is an attitude adopted by women wearing a Messika creation: that of a strong woman who is free and a daring adventurer.

Wild Moon diamond Hoop Earrings, Born To Be Wild
In a chic bohemian spirit, the designer revisits the shape of the crescent moon with a feminine diamond set to be worn at the hollow of the cleavage. In a modern dance, the angle of the marquise- and pear-cut diamonds changes as the crescent moon takes shape. Two lines of diamonds perfectly suspended using the knife-edge thread technique. Each diamond seems to float and be separate from the others. These hoop diamond earrings are composed by 18 marquise cut diamonds of 0,11ct each, 18 pear cut diamond of 0,10ct each and 74 brillant cut diamonds for a total weight of 0,16ct.
An exceptional know-how
A true common thread with the Born to be Wild diamond jewels, the sensation of plumage is reinforced by the high level of technicity of the feather setting, a Maison signature. Some pear-cut and marquise-cut diamonds are enhanced by a half-surround of brilliant-cut diamonds. The stone is thereby elongated, with its perspective and volume enhanced. This jewelling technique also makes it possible to give volume to the piece since the stone in the middle is set one level above its frame.
